Kisses & Cocoa – For Charity

If you’ve walked into Target, you have already noticed the Dollar Spot screams LOVE with all of the Valentine goodies.

We love Valentines and what the day represents.  It’s a day that forces us to tell the ones we love how much they mean to us.  One thing Renee & I want to teach our children is that you can spread so much love by helping others in need whether it be an act of kindness, making a homemade card, being kind to everyone (it may just make their day), holding the door open for everyone, etc.

We came up with the idea of turning a homemade lemonade stand into a Cocoa Booth as a fun activity with our children.  Initially, all proceeds from the sale of cocoa were going to be donated to charity but the temperatures dropped into the teens which is frigid in NC.

After thinking about how we could continue with our activity and charitable giving goal, the idea of creating a valentine printable that would be available for FREE and for purchase, where all proceeds would be donated, became our focus.

We are honored to have partnered with Bon Bini, another local business, who created this adorable design for us.

This 8×10 printable is available in two formats, PDF & JPEG, both included with your download/purchase.

All proceeds of this purchase are being donated to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.

Martin Luther King Jr. said it best, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?”

You can download the printable for free here, Valentine Printable, but if you wish to make a charitable donation for just $5, you can click here, Donate with Printable Download.

Sometimes we question how we can give more and try to do that by passing up the $ spot or skipping that Starbucks latte more often.

Thank you for helping to provide to those in need with your contribution.
